About me

I am an econometrician working on causal inference, machine learning methods for causal analysis, and labor economics.

Currently a researcher at the Institute of Economic Research at the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, previously an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica.

I am also affiliated with NHH – Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen (Associate Professor II), where I defended my PhD thesis in Economics in 2014, and with Masaryk University in Brno, where I work as Researcher II (part-time) and was appointed Associate Professor of Economics (docent) in 2024.

I also have experience working with and analyzing medical data for research. My CV is from September 2026.
