About me
I am an econometrician working on causal inference, machine learning methods for causal analysis, and labor economics.
From October 2026 I am joining the Institute of Economic Research at the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, moving from the Department of Mathematics at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, where I have been an Associate Professor.
I am also affiliated with NHH – Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen (Associate Professor II), where I defended my PhD thesis in Economics in 2014, and with Masaryk University in Brno, where I work as Researcher II (part-time) and was appointed Associate Professor of Economics (docent) in 2024.
I also have experience working with and analyzing medical data for research. My CV is from February 2026.
